He has previously worked at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where he worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist, alongside the orthopeadic shoulder and knee consultants.
Stephen regularly attends Foxbridge house and Prince George Duke of Kent care homes to provide exercise classes as well as support the mobility of individual residents.
He completed his masters in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2011.
In his spare time Stephen enjoys running, football, skiing/ snowboarding and is a keen squash player. The most demanding physical activity in his life at the moment is keeping up with his 2 young children and delinquent Labrador, Skye!
“I believe that physiotherapy should address the cause, not just the symptoms, by working in partnership with the individual. This is achieved through clear discussion about each person’s goals and an evidence-based approach to treatment.”
Stephen is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health and Care Professions Council and the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Please click the links below to check Stephen’s credentials.
Testimonials

“Doing a very physical job I needed to recover from my broken ankle as soon as possible. I found Stephen at ChislehurstPhysio to be very proficient and made a huge difference to the speed of my recovery compared to the treatment offered by the NHS.
The techniques and massage really helped loosen my muscles having been in plaster for so long and enabled me to reach the levels of mobility I required from the joint. I’m happy to say I suffer no loss of movement or pain now and I put this down to Stephen’s expert knowledge and motivational manner.
Coupled with his treatment in my own house and at my convenience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone suffering from joint pain and immobility. I’m highly satisfied.“
